Every piece of music I write is intended to be a short story. This is because stories are the most powerful emotional vehicles and allow me to deliver emotions the most effectively.
Shorter ‘beats’ I write borrow concepts from poetry like haikus, where the compact arrangement carries as many ideas as possible.
