Writing a Haiku well requires more than satisfying the syllabilc rules.
It should make us feel bruised in the soul.
But achieving this kind of elegance with so few words takes many years of practice.
Much like a boxer who trains every day to achieve that weight in their gloves.
That weight wasn’t accumulated in the ring.
It came from practice.
