Your mate, your nan, your hairdresser, your boss, your colleague, your customer, your bartender, your drug dealer, your online nemesis and yes, even your pet pomeranian all have opinions about you. And they might tell you about it one day.
The key thing is if anyone gives you unsolicited criticism about your work, it isn’t about the work. It’s about what the criticism says about them.
Don’t sweat the criticism from people who don’t matter to you.
There is no shortage of critics
N.B. Take critique seriously from someone who knows how to do it, who also cares about you. Don’t ignore those.
