After a while, writing feels like swimming through words.
But in the beginning you’re wading through thick mud.
You splash around awkwardly and not only do you barely move forwards, you dredge up more mud.
Writing really is an exercise in organising your thoughts and delivering it with clarity.
Eventually, your strokes become stronger and the mud subsides as you reach clear water.
It’s worth getting there.
The clarity at the end is breath taking.
