Here’s the thing about self-affirmations.
They work if you already believe in them, and make you feel worse if you don’t.
It is a fallacy that one could suddenly change their beliefs about themselves by simply stating they are so.
It’s not how beliefs work.
People believe they are awesome because they have concrete reasons beyond empty mantras to do so.
They achieve things, look after them selves, look after others, contribute to culture, contribute to humanity and most of all spread love.
Actions precede belief.
